2nd annual 
NC Honors Solo Summer Workshop

Learn the new NC Honors Solos over the summer in my studio!
Each lesson will be a live 30 minute session online.

I am very excited to offer this summer class again!  My students last summer had over a 75% placement rate in honors bands in the 2025-2026 school year across the state!!!

I have 25+ years of teaching experience and I have taught these solos multiple years. I have marked each individual solo with breath marks, counts, accidentals, phrase markings, dynamics...all the areas students tend to miss! 

Suitable for all ability levels, I break these solos down into manageable pieces each week and will teach you specific exercises and practice habits to max out your performance!  You will have an audio reference recording to go along with each lesson (all recorded by professional musicians)..at multiple speeds, with a metronome! 

Every lesson is recorded and archived, so if you miss one week for vacation...you can log in later and watch what you missed!  

The classes run from June 16 through August 20.  The lessons are paced so you will know the entire solo by the end of the 10 week workshop!

Each section has it's own Google Classroom where you can access exercises, recordings, and music.  If you have any questions during the week, no need to wait until the next lesson, you can post it in the classroom stream!
